Chris DeSilva promoted to Central Region Business Unit Leader

Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, is proud to announce the promotion of Chris DeSilva, PE, to Central Region Business Unit Leader.

Fehr Graham created Business Unit Leader positions reporting directly to President Kyle Saunders to promote the firm's long-term growth strategy and centralize leadership. Each Business Unit Leader directs a regional group. The firm's offices in Rockford and Aurora, Illinois, and Sheboygan, Wisconsin, make up the Central Region.

"I'm looking forward to working with a smaller team and focusing on helping leaders in Rockford, Aurora and Sheboygan grow staff and services. They will have me to lean on, learn from and bounce ideas off. I'm eager to help our teams continue to grow our capabilities and better serve our clients."

DeSilva will directly support Branch Managers, Discipline Leads and staff to ensure successful project execution and grow business development opportunities in the Central Region.

DeSilva joined Fehr Graham in 2019 and was promoted from Branch Manager to Chief Operating Officer in 2024. He earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a member of the Water Environment Federation and the Illinois Water Environment Association. DeSilva lives in Elburn with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three daughters.
