Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, is proud to announce that Staff Engineer Kelsey Bird earned her Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin.
Bird, who works in the firm's Sheboygan office, passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam. As a Licensed Professional Engineer, she can now sign, seal and submit engineering plans. The license is important as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources now requires that a Professional Engineer sign some remediation project reports. Fehr Graham's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team also develops spill prevention, control and countermeasure plans, which require Professional Engineer oversight.
Bird was also promoted to Staff Engineer. In this role, she conducts environmental reviews and leads Phase I and II soil and groundwater sampling, vapor sampling and reporting. She also trains interns and new employees in fieldwork.
Bird joined Fehr Graham in 2021. She earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
