IN NATE’S OWN WORDS …

How would you describe what you do to someone unfamiliar with your job?

I help design infrastructure to improve lives by providing safe, efficient and resilient solutions.

What do you like most about working at Fehr Graham?

We get to work on exciting projects, like parks, schools and bridges, that people use every day and things that people might take for granted like water treatment plants.

Tell us about your professional accomplishments.

I am a licensed Professional Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor in Iowa. I have served on numerous committees and led large, multidiscipline, award-winning projects.

Who are you outside work?

I’m a husband, dad and coach. I have the privilege to coach my daughters’ softball and basketball teams and watch them participate in other activities.

How would your co-workers and clients describe you?

Reliable and honest. They know I will do my best, follow through and tell them what they need to make the best decisions.

What do you enjoy about helping clients and the communities in which they work and live?

I love to see our projects in use. I also enjoy getting to know our clients so we can better understand what drives them and provide the best possible solutions.
