Fehr Graham opens Schaumburg office to expand service in Chicago’s northwest suburbs

Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, announced the opening of its Schaumburg office at 1933 North Meacham Road, Suite 310, expanding its presence in Chicago's northwest suburbs.

The office is part of the firm's strategic plan to grow engineering and environmental services in the collar counties and northwest corridor. It also gives Fehr Graham a stronger local presence near clients and communities experiencing continued growth.

The firm is growing quickly. As we continue building relationships across the region, it makes sense to open an office closer to the communities we serve. This expansion allows our team to better serve clients, build new relationships and continue providing the practical, responsive solutions our clients expect."

The Schaumburg office also gives Fehr Graham a strong foothold in a competitive talent market, helping the firm attract engineers, environmental specialists and technical professionals who want to build their careers close to home while supporting growing communities.

Fehr Graham Senior Project Manager Tim Chan, PE, who joined the firm in 2025, will help launch the Schaumburg office. Chan said the location puts the firm closer to communities investing in infrastructure, development and long-term planning.

"There is a lot of momentum in this region, and we are excited to be part of it," Chan said. "Being centrally located allows us to be more accessible to our clients, better understand their needs and help communities plan for what is next."

The Schaumburg office will serve communities throughout the northwest suburbs, including Palatine, Schaumburg, St. Charles, Pingree Grove, Elgin and surrounding areas. Fehr Graham has additional Illinois offices in Aurora, Rockford, Rochelle, Freeport, Champaign and East Peoria.

Clients served from the Schaumburg office will have access to Fehr Graham's full range of engineering and environmental services, including transportation, water and wastewater, structural engineering, environmental regulation, compliance, assessment and remediation, and environmental health and safety.

Collectively, Fehr Graham employs more than 260 people across its offices in Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa.
