Illinois Society of Professional Engineers recognizes Mary Coombe Bloxdorf

Professional Structural Engineer Mary Coombe Bloxdorf was given the Illinois Award today for her contribution to the professional engineering industry during her career. Coombe Bloxdorf was honored at the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers’ annual convention at the Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Normal. 

The Illinois Society of Professional Engineers is an association that represents more than 2,500 members from all disciplines of engineering, established in 1886.
 
Coombe Bloxdorf graduated in 1981 from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and began working for the Illinois Department of Transportation. Fast forward nearly four decades, Coombe Bloxdorf is a Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer and a partner in her firm, Coombe-Bloxdorf. Coombe-Bloxdorf became a part of Fehr Graham in 2015. Coombe Bloxdorf provides civil engineering solutions to clients from the firm’s Springfield office.
