Danfoss strengthens confined space program

Fehr Graham and Danfoss, an electrical and energy-efficient drive manufacturer, have a long working history together. When the company needed to complete environmental and safety inspections, leaders contacted our team. The company wanted to strengthen its confined space program and ensure Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance.

Our team surveyed the building and identified the confined spaces, which are areas with limited entry and egress. These spaces may need to be entered by maintenance workers but should not be for general unauthorized workers. Once a space was defined as confined, we determined the hazards it presented and labeled the space appropriately. We worked with managers to assess the entire facility and prepare the final report.
