Alex Hoppes, PE, promoted to Senior Project Engineer

Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, announced the promotion of Alex Hoppes, PE, to Senior Project Engineer.

Hoppes is based in the firm's Aurora, Illinois, office and drives progress on water resources projects, supporting clients through the planning, design and construction phases. He prepares construction cost estimates, produces design plans and specifications, provides construction administration services to support data-driven decisions.

With expertise in regulatory permitting, sewer rehabilitation and municipal wastewater systems, Hoppes brings a strong technical foundation and practical approach to complex infrastructure challenges. In his new role, he takes on more design responsibility across projects and mentors junior staff, helping guide technical development and support team growth.

Hoppes joined Fehr Graham in 2015. He earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a member of the Illinois Water Environment Association, the Water Environment Federation and the Central States Water Environment Association.
