Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, announced the promotion of Austin Grawe to Associate Engineering Technician in the firm's Manchester, Iowa, office.
Grawe joined Fehr Graham in 2021 as an Engineering Technician. He continues to support projects by following Statewide Urban Design and Specifications and Iowa Department of Transportation specifications. He specializes in materials testing and on-site observations and plays a key role in guiding construction to ensure projects meet quality, safety and compliance standards. He also prepares roadway designs using Civil 3D, producing construction-ready plans to meet project standards.
Grawe supports infrastructure projects through construction documentation, plan development and coordination with contractors, agencies and clients. His experience includes roadway, water and wastewater, sanitary and stormwater improvements, and GIS mapping services. He also prepares progress documentation, pay estimates and inspection reports.
Grawe holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Law from Mount Mercy University and certifications in Aggregate Technician, PCC Levels 1 and 2, Erosion Control Technician, Hot Mix Asphalt Level 1 and Contract Administration Levels 1 and 2.
