Fehr Graham works with Rockford Promise to connect students with engineering careers

Rockford Promise Scholars visited Fehr Graham's Rockford, Illinois, office to get a glimpse into the world of engineering as part of the Promising Careers: Connecting Local Youth with Rewarding Professional Opportunities initiative. Students from Rockford University, Rock Valley College and Northern Illinois University got an exclusive tour and a chance to talk with our engineers.

Rockford Promise, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mentorship and scholarships to graduates of Rockford Public Schools, organized the event which aimed to bridge the gap between students and local firms in engineering and manufacturing and foster meaningful connections that could lead to future career opportunities.

Rockford Promise Executive Director Kaylene Groh said these programs will not only enlighten students about local professional opportunities but also inspire them to envision a career close to home. Fehr Graham staff enjoy nurturing the next generation of engineers and reinforcing the bond between students and their community.
