Mack Llanas earns Professional Engineer license

Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, announced that Project Engineer Mack Llanas earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois.

Llanas, who works in the firm's Rochelle, Illinois, office, joined Fehr Graham full-time in 2022 after completing an internship with the company. To obtain a PE, an engineer must pass the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam and complete four years of work under a licensed PE. As a Licensed Professional Engineer, Llanas can now sign, seal and submit engineering plans.

"We're extremely happy for Mack on this important achievement," said Fehr Graham Principal and Rochelle office Branch Manager Jason Stoll, PE. "This is an important milestone for Mack and for Fehr Graham, and we're excited to watch Mack grow his career and continue to make positive contributions for our clients."

Llanas was promoted to a Project Engineer earlier this year. He supports civil engineering projects, including local roadway and public utility improvements, site design and industrial rail. He works closely with project managers and teams to advance projects, maintain schedules and coordinate technical work.

He also coordinates project tasks, supports team leaders, and helps ensure projects remain efficient and on schedule.

Llanas earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee-Martin.
