Raj Kumar promoted to Staff Engineer

Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, announced the promotion of Raj Kumar to Staff Engineer.

Kumar, who works in the firm's Aurora, Illinois, office, joined Fehr Graham in 2024. He supports wastewater treatment and infrastructure improvement projects across Illinois. His work includes structural design and analysis of critical treatment facilities and industrial structures. He also supports construction engineering and structural site assessments.

In his new role, Kumar continues to design industrial and water treatment facilities while taking on responsibility for project efficiency, budget management and business development support. He oversees markups and drafting to ensure quality assurance, quality control and compliance with safety standards.

Kumar earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute and a master's degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
