Survey work featured in xyHt magazine

In the March 2018 edition of xyHt magazine, Fehr Graham Survey Manager Scott Immel describes how monitoring improved construction processes for the replacement of an 85-year-old bridge connecting Illinois and Iowa. The Savanna-Sabula truss bridge, named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, opened to traffic in 1932. In the early 2010s, the bridge was found to be "structurally deficient." In 2015, the project to replace the historic bridge began.
