Todd Shankland becomes Fehr Graham owner

Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, is proud to announce the addition of Todd Shankland to the ownership team. Shankland is the firm's Chief Financial Officer.

The firm's first nontechnical owner, Shankland is paving a path for other employees to find their way into the ownership circle. He joined the firm in September 2020.

"Todd is an asset to Fehr Graham," said Mick Gronewold, Fehr Graham's Board Chairman and one of the firm's owners. "He's found efficiencies in our operations, became an instant champion of our merger and acquisition strategy and he's eager to help the firm grow in smart ways."

Shankland helps the firm with financial forecasting and performance optimization and strategic acquisitional and organic growth execution. Before joining Fehr Graham, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Cleaners Depot, where he was responsible for finance, accounting, human resources, information technology and risk management.

He also takes pride in his past volunteer work. He also takes pride in his past volunteer work. He served as a tax advisor at Ladder Up Tax Assistance Program for Low-Income Households. He was a coach and mentor at North Lawndale College Prep High School and treasurer for Sub-5 Ride for Parkinson's benefiting the Davis Phinney Foundation.

Shankland has a bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He and his wife, Gigi, have three children.
